Prepare family graves
Families are encouraged to visit, clean their loved ones’ grave sites, and place flowers in remembrance.
An annual Davis Cemetery tradition
From Friday through Sunday afternoon, families and friends return to honor loved ones, place flowers, reconnect with one another, and help support the continued care of these historic grounds.
Friday through Sunday afternoon
Decoration Weekend has brought generations of families back to Davis Cemetery. It begins on the Friday before the second Sunday in June and continues through Sunday afternoon. Visitors tend family graves, leave flowers, share memories, and renew connections with relatives and friends.
For many years, volunteers have also welcomed families beneath the cemetery tent and received donations for upkeep. Those gifts help make year-round mowing, maintenance, repairs, and preservation possible.
Plan your visit
There is no single gathering time. Families may visit throughout the weekend, from Friday through Sunday afternoon.

Stop by to visit with board members, ask questions, and make a donation toward cemetery care.
On Sunday, we join with Dora Second Missionary Church, which holds a singing for its annual homecoming. Follow our Facebook page for the latest weekend announcements.
